When I was little, my family spent summers traveling across the country in our car, my parents' jobs (teachers) allowing us that unique luxury.
With a pop-up trailer in tow, we'd start out each travel day before dawn, the air just a little chilly....and would pile all our blankets and pillows in the back seat, as our parents drove us off to the next national park on the list. In our journey, we saw an amazing cross section of the very details of this country in the plains and mountains, tiny roadside stands and dusty little towns.
Recently, I found a blog that reminds me of those travels most wonderfully and exactly. Take a look at some of the memorable pictures and stories from Josh Lane as he travels across the country at HOV Lane.
