There's something just magical to me even in the name 'Tuscany'. It speaks of sun, wildflowers, olives, iron grate windows, a country breeze, and small villas with overgrown gardens. It would be the kind of place where a morning walk, or dinner outside at a quaint restaurant could restore the soul.
With the glow of this idea, I recently searched the web for a place I could live and work for 1 or 2 weeks within the surround of Tuscany and found this wonderful little example of a small Villa for rent.
It's just the start of an idea (looking is half the fun!), but one I could imagine would be wonderful, either as a solo trip or one to be made with friends.
What lovely travel fantasy fodder! Thank you for the link!

Ahhh....looks like a sequel to "Under the Tuscan Sun".
I assume you will be filling in for Diane Lane?
Have fun!

Hi Rick - Ah yes. I do remember that movie. I certainly wouldn't mind that .... well, maybe minus the collapsing wall and ornery tap ...
