It's a beautiful, sunny day and San Francisco is shining. I can see the white sails of sailboats out on the Bay from my window, and kites hovering from children at play.
And this morning, I did one of my new favorite things and spent a few hours at the San Francisco Farmer's Market -- a must see spot on weekends.
The scenery is beautiful with a view of the Bay Bridge on one side and the city skyline on the other. It is set directly behind the beautiful Ferry Building (definitely go inside!) and it's packed with vendors selling all imaginable goods.
I always get started with a fresh cup of french press coffee, get a little hot breakfast from one of the vendors, then start a slow stroll along each aisle.
Today, my lime-green shoulder bag was filled with sweet baby carrots, pencil thin asparagus, black, black cherries, a sprightly bunch of wildflowers, little fiddleheads and deep green swiss chard.
